Give yourself energy that will last with these nutritious and delicious chocolate energy balls!

Ingredients

1 cup PurDate sugar (soak in ΒΌ cup boiling water)

1 cup raw walnuts (ground)

1 cup raw almonds (ground)

1/4 cup cacao powder or unsweetened cocoa powder

1/8 tsp sea salt

Β½ cup Mini chocolate chips (optional)
Directions
Soak PurDate sugar in ΒΌ cup of hot water for 10-15 minutes.
Add 1 cup walnuts, 1 cup almonds, cacao powder, and sea salt to the date sugar mixture. Mix and fold in mini chocolate chips if desired.
Roll dough into balls. (If the mixture is too dry and not sticking together, slowly add 1 Tbsp of water at a time until the mixture is the right consistency before rolling into balls).
Roll the balls in either PurDate sugar or coconut flakes.
Store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator and enjoy for a healthy snack when you need a boost of energy or pack them in your children's lunch boxes!
