A perfect meal for dinner... Coming right up! Our orange chicken is spicy, sweet, sour, a little bit of everything, but most of all DELICIOUS. The sauce is made with our favorite ingredient... date sugar!

Ingredients
-
3-4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
-
1 ½ cup cornstarch
-
3 eggs beaten
-
¼ cup canola oil
-
Salt and pepper to taste
-
2/3 cup PurDate sugar
-
2/3 cup orange juice
-
1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce
-
2 tsp sriracha
-
3 Tbsp white vinegar
-
3 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
-
1 tsp garlic salt
-
1 Tbsp grated orange peel
-
1 tsp cornstarch
Directions
Preheat oven to 325F. Cut chicken breasts into 1-inch cubes (bitesize) and season with salt and pepper.
Place cornstarch in a shallow dish and eggs in another shallow dish. Dip the chicken into the cornstarch then into the eggs.
Heat oil in a large skillet over the stove and cook the chicken until it is browned. No need to cook it all the way through, because you will be cooking it in the oven as well. Place the chicken in a 9 x 13 greased, oven-proof dish.
Combine PurDate sugar, orange juice, sriracha, apple cider vinegar, grated orange peel, white vinegar, soy sauce, garlic salt, and cornstarch in a bowl and pour over chicken.
Bake for 1 hour. Stir the chicken every 20 minutes so that it stays coated in the sauce.
