You have heard of the pumpkin spice latte... but have you tried the pumpkin spice smoothie? This is a recipe for all of our pumpkin spice fans out there. We got you with this Purdate, date sugar dessert... or breakfast, you get to choose!
½ cup pumpkin puree (unsweetened)
½ frozen banana
1-2 Tbsp date sugar (depends on how sweet you want it)
¼ cup plain Greek Yogurt (optional)
½ -1 cup milk of your choice (almond milk is good here)
1 Tbsp rolled oats (optional)
¼-3/4 tsp pumpkin pie spice
¼ tsp pure vanilla extract (optional)
Garnish with a cinnamon stick, whipped cream and walnuts on top (optional)
Add all ingredients to a blender with ½ cup milk.
Add more liquid and blend until it is a desired consistency.
